Feedback Sought On Used Boat Purchase - 32' Aluminum Hull

Question:
OK, two questions about this:

32' cabin cruiser w/twin 350 gas engines, 100gal fuel located just aft of amidships engine placement. Still, she only weighs in at 7,000lbs. Intended use: fishing in Puget sound, weekend cruises up to San Juans, occasional lake boating. Moorage in salt water (Edmonds, WA).

So my primary concerns are:

1. Is she too light be seaworthy, or at least enjoyable, in these semi-protected environs? 2. What kind of nightmares can I expect with an all-aluminum hull structure? If it is moored in fresh water? Salt?

I don't see too many aluminum-hulled boats out here in the pacific NW. I do see quite a few in the great lakes. I suspect there's a reason. All relevant comments are appreciated.

Answer:
As this is a used boat, where was it moored before? Aluminum is just above zinc on the nobility scale and will go away if not properly grounded and protected.
