Question:
I am looking to purchase a new bass boats soon and I am really
overwhelmed by all of the different bass boat manufacturers out there! I
know that Ranger is a great name in bass boats and have heard many good
things about Champion and Skeeter too. What and whgere are the real
differences between the better bass boats out there? I don't want to buy a
name brand just say "look at me" I want solid build quality and
performance more than anything else. I don't think that I would ever sell
the boat or at least not for a very long time anyway. Resale is something
that I maybe overlooking a bit more than i should I guess. Anyway who
makes the best all around bass boats out there today and why. I am not
"trolling" here, I sincerely want to get peoples feedback on who and why
you prefer certain manufacturers bass boats. This is a lot of money to me
and want to have all the facts that i can get before I make my choice of
boats. Also I am interested in your favorite outboards especially in terms
of longevity. I am more interested in long term reliability vs. speed!
Answer:
- Just grab a piece of aluminum, bend it a bit in the middle, and strap a 200hp
outboard to the back! (And add a $5K paint job...)
-Make sure you look at Triton. My cousin is a tournament fisher for them,
and gets a new boat every year. I am constantly impressed by their
workmanship and performance.
