Deck Boat floor repair ?

Question:
I have a nice 1992 Float deck boat. it is about 18' and looks great. I just purchased the boat (test drove it first) and it runs like a champ. Later I was closely inspecting the boat, and I noticed that between the captin chairs it seemes a little soft. Maybe something to worry about next year. I would like get as much information as possible about replacing the floor. What would be the best place to start? What book would be a good reference? Any advice for a beginer?

Answer:
Get an estimate from a professional boat repair shop. Often times if the shop can do it during the off season you'll get a better price and cash discounts often are available. Stay away from big boat & sail boat marinas as then tend to be pricey.

Then decide if you really want to take on this project.
